Winstep allows publishers, resellers, and website operators to promote Winstep products and earn 30% on referred product orders. After signup, an affiliate receives unique download and order-page URLs for each product. The official page says that when a visitor downloads through the unique download URL, a cookie is stored on the visitor’s computer so the affiliate can receive credit if the customer later orders through the affiliate’s site, the Winstep site, or the program itself. Downloads are hosted on Winstep’s servers, so affiliates do not need to host the software. Affiliates can view sales and manage account information in the BMT Micro Reseller Center.
